Steve Riley


Steve Riley’s creative journey began as a former chorus dancer on Broadway. His last show before launching a photographic career was “A Chorus Line”. He began making pictures in 1970 taking headshots of fellow actors. Retiring from the theatre in 1990, Steve began his photographic career in Dallas with clients such as American Airlines, FritoLay, JC Penney, ABC Radio Networks, and The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. This award winning photographer has mounted 25 exhibitions and published 3 monographs. He is currently working on a documentary project of Semana Santa in Granada, Spain at Holy Week. His short film “Shooter” won several film festivals in 2012 and the Louisiana Filmmaker’s Award.
