Nature Photography

From the Artist:
"As a youth in central Texas during the 1950s, I spent much of my time playing out-of-doors, hiking, and fishing in local streams and tanks. I began my nature photography during the mid 1970s. I had lost interest in hunting and sought a non-aggressive way to appreciate nature.

I have worked full-time in our business since 1979, my wife Barbara since 1981. Prior to these times we were both secondary education teachers. I also coached football and track. Barbara cuts the mats, handles most of the business chores and helps me on field trips. Our photography business is strictly a two person affair.

Our philosophies are grounded by a strong nature ethic. We believe that the ultimate health of our societies and economies is intrinsically tied to the health of natural ecosystems. NATURE MATTERS."
